Jay Trimmer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2020, at the age of 97, Jay Trimmer of La Salle, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay Trimmer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Trimmer and Frances Trimmer (Taylor); his wife Eva Look; his daughters, Jayne Trimmer Sayles and Jennifer "Jenny" Trimmer; his son-in-law Ray Koch; and his siblings, June Martino and John Trimmer.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Koch of La Salle and David Trimmer (Carrie) of Pleasant Prairie, WI; his grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda), Patrick (Holly), Matthew DeGraeve (Jen Groll), Kathrenia Trimmer, Jay Martin Trimmer, Keyantee Davis (Anthony) and Henry Sayles (Dee); his great grandchildren, Alex, Aiden, Sophie, Austin, Kaleb, Alyssa, Connie and Autumn; and his brother Joseph Trimmer of Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family at 17 Victoria Dr. in La Salle that will be later donated to La Salle VFW and the National POW Museum of Andersonville, GA.
