He was predeceased by: his parents, Elic Catalanello and Theresa Catalanello (Grzeskowiak); and his siblings, Rosalene Piper, Joseph and Robert Catalanello.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Roberts of La Salle; his children, Christine Catalanello of La Salle, Carol Biagioni (Tony) of Arlington, Bill Catalanello (Christina) of La Salle and Jim Catalanello (Mary) of Piety Hill; and his sister Phyllis Gbur of Peru. He is also survived by six grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
