He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Helwig and Mabel Helwig (Singhose); his wife Dorothy Ifft; his children, Susan Reno (Norman) of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Helwig (Eileen) of Peru; and his grandchildren, Sarah Dawson (Tyrell) of Pueblo, CO. and Cody Helwig (Katie).
