He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Knafelc and Theresa Knafelc (Spelich); his siblings, Jim, Kenny, Jean Ferrari and Lorraine Momeny; his wife Gen; and his children, Georgeann and Gene.
He is survived by: his sister Darlene Knafelc; his sons, Greg Knafelc (Dianne) and Geoff Knafelc (Jane); his grandchildren, Christopher Knafelc, Amie Knafelc and Erica Maloney; and his stepgrandchildren, Abby Horn, Zack Horn, Ray Ceresa and Daniel Ceresa.
