He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hunter and Willa Hunter (Ambrose); and his siblings, William and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Curtin; his children, Megan Hepokoski (John), Emily Kearney (John) and David Michael II Hunter (Jessica); his grandchildren, Macy, Ava, John, Walter David Hepokoski, William, Anna Kearney, David Michael III and Edward Hunter; and his sister Susan Johnson (Michael).
