He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cahill and Ellen Conway Cahill of LaSalle; his siblings, Peter (Kim Shute) of Owensboro, KY, Timothy of Palm Springs, CA, Andrew (Tanya Schmidt) of Yucaipa, CA, Kate (Brian Barger) of Palm Springs, Bridget of Palm Springs and Abigail (Joshua Kagan) of Ridgefield, CT.; his nephews, Justin (Hannah Kirkland) of Chicago, Adam (Bree Tropp) of Mesa, AZ, Riley of Yucaipa, CA, Caden of Beaumont, CA, Benjamin Kagan of Chicago and Reid Kagan of Chicago; his niece Ella Rose Kagan of Ann Arbor, MI.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Finnegan, Declan, Ava Joy, Nolan, Kayli, Colin and Camden; his brother John; and his aunt Rose Conway (Conway).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (725 4th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates a gift made in Dans name to the Voluntary Action Center of LaSalle, who provided Dan some great Meals on Wheels, and where Dan planned to volunteer as soon as he retired.
