He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl L. Bennett and Lelia Grace Bennett (Fuller). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Lee; his children, Lesley Flynn (Matt) of Macomb, Stephanie Davis (Darin) of Davis, Illinois and Brett Bennett (Jennifer) of Royse City, Texas; his grandchildren, Emilee, Elizabeth, Stone and Lelia; and his siblings, Neil Bennett (Jeanne) of Iowa City, Iowa and Barbara Cameron (Bob) of Burlington, Iowa. He is also survived by eight sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Terre Haute United Methodist Church Building Fund, LaHarpe Ambulance Service or MDH Hospice.
