She is survived by: her children, Fred McConnell (Pat) of Alabama, Terry McConnell (Brenda) of Colchester, Elaine Hanks (Ed) of Burnside and Rodney McConnell (Heike); her stepchildren, Linda Heard of Oklahoma and Jamie Henson (Sydney); and her siblings, Carlene Scheuerman of Webster, Charles Shipman (Ruth) of Colorado, Darrell Shipman (Jo) of Texas, Bill Shipman of Webster and Duane Shipman (Joan) of Webster. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, along with several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for The Elms or the Webster Community Church.
