We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, at the age of 82, Sandy Cox of La Harpe, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sandy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sandy. Though Sandy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Alecock and Florence Alecock (Goff). She is survived by: her husband Cecil Cox of LaHarpe; her son Mark Cox (Jamie) of Gays; her granddaughters, Audrey Carls (Jeff) of Arenzville and Lauren Cox of Chicago; her great grandchild Jack Taylor Carls of Arenzville; and her sisters, Betty Brown of Monmouth and Maida Johnson of Biggsville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Terre Haute Community Church, Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab Center or a charity of the donor's choice.
