He is survived by: his parents, Danny Mapes and Bette June Rice Mapes of LaHarpe; his former spouse Kelly Windsor; his children, Emma Mapes of Burlington, Hayden of LaHarpe and Hendrix Mapes of LaHarpe; and his siblings, Brenda Rulon (Mark) of Argyle, IA, Bill Mapes (Stacey) of Simi Valley, CA and Michael Mapes of Hanna City, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
