She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Bachmann and Minnie Bachmann (Harvey); her husband Clifford Lee Gittings; and her son-in-law Gene Reische. She is survived by: her children, David Simler (Angela) of Bellevue, Diane Radey (Patrick) of Matthews, Kris Reische of LaHarpe and Rick Gittings of LaHarpe; her grandchildren, Jacob Radey, Joshua Radey, John Radey, Charity Allaman (Larrick), Jennifer Lofquist (Jason), Kayla Parry (Billy) and April Gittings; and her siblings, Charles, Lewis Bachmann and Judy Nicol. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the LaHarpe Christian Church (200 E Main St, La Harpe, IL 61450). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Knox City Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe Christian Church.
