He is survived by: his children, Jarrid Yard (Rebecca) of Gladstone, Landon Yard (Ashley) of LaHarpe, Colby Yard (Monica) of Wataga, Illinois, Michelle Bramblett (Justin) of Hannibal and Teresa Hickey of Quincy, Illinois; his grandchildren, Parker Yard (McKenzie), Karrigan Bonilla (Elvis), Erika Yard, Trey Peuster, Lexie Peuster, Jackson Shallenberger, Clayton Yard, Bexley Yard, Oakley Yard, Roman Yard, Haxtun Karl Yard, Harlow Hickey and Larkin Hickey; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jet Yard; his nephew Shane Yard (Karen) of Bloomington; and his niece Amy Hager (Jeff) of Atlanta, Georgia..
A masonic service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the LaHarpe Union Church (107 N Center St, La Harpe, IL 61450). Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for the Union Church or LaHarpe Park District, to benefit the LaMoine Valley Golf Course.
