He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell and Era May Rodeffer (Smith); his wife Betty LaVerna Wetterling; his son Randall Rodeffer; and his siblings, Lucille Smith, Mary Rodeffer, Bill, Bob, Charles and Dick Rodeffer.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Melissa Walker of Fort Madison, Iowa. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and numerous extended family.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Banks & Beals Funeral Home (504 E Main St, La Harpe, IL 61450).
A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe Ambulance Service.
