He was predeceased by: his father Harold Bundy; and his great-nephew Cody Bundy. He is survived by: his mother Theresia Bundy Sr. (Voorjans) of LaHarpe; his children, Laura Schliep (Matt) of Zumbrota, Aaron Bundy of LaHarpe and Trent Bundy (Justine) of Plymouth, Illinois; and his siblings, Annette Cross of Fulton, Missouri, Medardus Bundy (Tawnya) of LaHarpe and Avery Bundy (Kathy) of Decatur. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
