She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Shutwell and Elva Shutwell (Allen); her husband Howard Allen Magin; her daughter Donna Metcalf; and her sisters, Myrtle Fife and Lois Crane.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Stokke (Ken) of LaHarpe; her grandchildren, Lance Collins (Michelle) and Shawna Kent (Ryan); her stepgrandson Mark Stokke (Bonnie); her great grandchildren, Tyler Cahoy, Josh and James Collins; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Marky Stokke, Jennifer Royer and Tray Stokke; her great great grandchildren, Mark Otto Stokke, Jubilee Stokke and Isaac Cahoy; and her sister Ruth Kirchner (Leonard) of Quincy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe Fire Department or Traditions Hospice.
