He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Herring and Wanda Mae Torrence; and his siblings, Joan Sherwood and Joe Herring. He is survived by: his wife Rose Simon; his children, Valerie Settles, Jason Torrence (Tara) of LaHarpe and Carmen Durr (Joseph) of Pevely, Missouri; his stepmother Helen Herring; and his siblings, Irene Wadham, Garnet Babcock, Donnie Herring, Raymond Herring and Candy Carle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
