It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean M. Eddington (La Harpe, Illinois), born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father E. Dale Eddington; and his grandparents, Lloyd, Pearl Eddington, Glenn and Ethel Kraft.
He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Eddington (Kraft) of LaHarpe; his daughters, Dana Blythe (Alex) of LaHarpe, Erica Carroll (Drew) of Carthage and Tess Hartzell (Kyle) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Keith, Ainsley, Weston, Wyatt Blythe, Vivian and Eleanor Carroll; and his sister Deanna Cibak of Newton. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for the Intensive Care Unit at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.
