She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara S. McCoy (Todd). She is survived by: her father Donald P. McCoy of LaHarpe; her husband Sean Daniel Chaney; her children, Nick of LaHarpe, Austin Chaney of LaHarpe and Katie Chaney of Keokuk; her grandchildren, Calliope, Louis and Lyanna Thompson; and her siblings, Brian McCoy (Betty) of LaHarpe, Shelly Cunningham (John) of Carthage and Lori Fickel (Steve) of Buhler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established for their children.
