He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jean Unger; his children, John (Tracey), Matt (Julie) and Sarah Patel (Nitesh); his grandchildren, John Patrick, Margaret Ann, Natalie Jane and William Richard; and his siblings, Geraldine Fenn (Butch) and Kenneth Unger (late Sally).

Interment private, In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name would be appreciated.
