It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Ivan Mares of La Grange, Illinois, born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George J. Mares, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Ann Mares (Habegger) of La Porte, Indiana.; his siblings, Deborah Lee (Alan) of Knoxville, Paulette R. Mares of La Porte and George J. Mares III of Streamwood, Illinois; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas R. Scully, Joshua J. Scully, Madeline K. Mares, Samantha R Mares and Jonathan P. Mansfield.
