He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Springer and Floydine Edna Tomkinson (Carley). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jean DeVoss of LaGrange, IL; his daughter Sarah Jean Tomkinson of Bloomington, IL; his siblings, Joan Ems of Chicago, IL and David Tomkinson (Irene) of Rochester, NH.; his nieces and nephews, Lynn Morell (Tomkinson), Shawn Tomkinson, Kathy Keane (Ems), David Ems, Michelle Warren, Stacey Terry, Bradley DeVoss and Douglas DeVoss; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Julia Morell, Patrick Keane, Austin, Justin Ems, Chelsey Crider, Elizabeth Warren, Griffin Campbell, Josephine, Jasper Terry, Isabella and Olivia DeVoss; and also, Kodi Crider, Asher Crider, Rogen Cotty and Annabelle Williams.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chillicothe City Cemetery (510 W Frances St, Chillicothe, IL 61523).
