He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lois; his children, Scott Malcak, Diane Espinos (James) and Therese Streuli; his grandchildren, Michael Espinos (Nina), Melanie Espinos, Allison, Christian and Caroline Streuli; his great grandchildren, Penelope, James, Juliet Espinos and Ramesses Thomas; and his nieces, Janyne Hilfinger, Maribeth Casey and Patrice Rodkey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
