She was predeceased by: her husband George Schmidt; and her siblings, Patricia, Donald and David. She is survived by: her children, Robert Schmidt and Debra Schmidt-Malik; her grandchildren, Richard Malik, Andrew Malik, David Schmidt, Steven Schmidt and Rae Schmidt; and her great grandchild Bentley Arnold-Malik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513).
