He was predeceased by: his spouse Rosemarie Valentine; his child Jonathan A. Valentine; and his sibling Carl Valentine. He is survived by: his friend Mary Lynn Keir; his child Jason E. Valentine; his siblings, Maryann Cervi, Richard Valentine, Lois Pravidica (Rocco) and Claudette Valentine; and also Kumzi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
