He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Behan and Lois Behan. He is survived by: his spouse Sandra Behan (Fields); his children, Zane and Keira; his aunt Annie; his uncle Ed Bigus; his siblings, Martin Behan, Mark Behan and Suzanne Boffa; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Baker (Fields) and Larry Baker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Manteno Veterans' Home and the Prince Home for homeless Veterans, 1 Veteran's Dr., Manteno, IL 60950.
