William R. Poyner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2019, at the age of 87, William R. Poyner (Knoxville, Illinois), born in Corning, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Poyner and Claire Poyner (Howerton); his son Ronald Poyner (Kelly) of Galesburg; his siblings, Euel Walker (Barb) of Galesburg and Verneal Walker Singleton of Galesburg; his wife Rev. Vada M. Poyner; his brother Gerald O. Poyner; and his son Charles R. Poyner. He was also cherished by three granddaughters; one grandson; four great-granddaughters; and great-great-grandchildren.
