He is survived by: his wife Julie Jackson; his daughter Michelle Benson (Ray) of Galesburg, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Dakota Benson (Layla Sundberg) of Galesburg, Illinois and Mercedys Benson of Galesburg, Illinois; his great grandchild Elania Benson of Galesburg, Illinois; and his brother Richard "Rick" Carlson (Janet) of Parker Arizona.
