It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. West (Knoxville, Illinois), born in Gilson, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald West and Ruth West; and his siblings, Ronald, Oley, Theodore "Teddy", Doris, Lois Mae and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Johanna Knussman of Seminary Manor, Galesburg; his sons, Greg West (Lynne) of Knoxville and Kevin West (Marla) of Williamsfield; his brother Joey West of London Mills; his granddaughters, Emily West, Amanda West (Nathan Pilon), Andrea Fowler (Jeremiah) and Amy Landon (Ty); and his great grandchildren, Preston, Dash, Kanan and Maxwell.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services for John will be held at a later date.
