He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy D. and Hazel M. Fry (Wampler); his stepfather Arthur Taylor; and his nephew James L. Harness. He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Fry of Knoxville; his sister June Harness of Inglewood; and his nieces, Jennifer Bossey (Joe) of Inglewood and Cathy Harness of Iowa.
