He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Gladfelter and Mildred Gladfelter (Kenney); his wife Joan Schulz; and his son Stephen Gladfelter. He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Worden (Thomas) of Knoxville, Illinois; his granddaughters, Michelle McBride (Nolan) of Knoxville, Megan Moore (Travis Fohey) of St. Louis and Hailey Worden (Tyler German) of Knoxville, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Makaiha Moore, Jordy McBride, Kasen McBride, Oaklyn McBride and Roman Fohey; and his friend Debbie Wood.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
