He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira L. Collins, and Mary Ruth Collins, Sr. (Ayers); and his sister Shirley Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Gay Collins of Knoxville, Illinois; his sons, Rick Collins (Gina) of Kankakee, Randy Collins (Cristal) of Tuscola, Ronnie Collins (Lauren) of Everett and Roy Collins (Jessica); and his siblings, Bill Collins (Ginnie) of Missouri, David Collins of Missouri and Cathy Spurgeon of Oklahoma. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
