He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Jean Truitt; his stepdaughter Mary C. Patton; his half-brothers, George K. Young, Donald L. Young and Charles V. Lovejoy; his pet Buster; and his parents, George Carl and Mabel Helen Anderson (Baumann).
He is survived by: his daughters, Jean Phillips of Dwight and Mary Shiroiwa (Masato) of Galesburg; and his granddaughter Michelle Anderson (Stephen) of Dwight.
