He was predeceased by: his parents, George Unger and Mary Jane Unger (Garrison); and his former wife Gene. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Unger of Pharr, Texas.; his daughters, Linda Unger and Barbara Ploense (Ronald); his stepchildren, Steven Pampel (Sabrina) and Sharon Northcutt (Ted); his grandchildren, Jodi Rolison (Gordon), Kim Neese (Steve), Lilly Pampel and Trent Pampel; and his great grandchildren, Park Neese, Tyler Neese, Trevor Rolison and Zoey Pampel.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Knoxville Cemetery North Market.
