He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh M. Unger and Margaret C. Unger (Bower); his wife Carol Unger of Knoxville; his daughter Christine Irene Unger-Mason (Mark Mason) of Maquon, Illinois; his grandsons, Wyatt Frank Mason and Nolan Carl Mason; his siblings, Charles Unger (Susan) of Galesburg, Neill Unger (Jan) of Galesburg and Louise Doney (Louie) of Galesburg; his brother-in-law Rollie Potts of East Moline, Illinois; and his sister Joan Potts. He was also cherished by seven nephews; and four nieces.
Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to the Knoxville Community Food Pantry at the Knoxville United Methodist Church.
