He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Zimmerman of Knoxville; his sons, Richard Kunkle, Jr. (Rhonda) of Prairie City and Randy Kunkle (Carla) of Republic, Missouri; and his sister Pat Scott of Galesburg. He is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
