She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Darwin and Lois Irene Nesbit (Wilson); her son Richard Allen; her siblings, Larry, Fred Nesbit, Lois Ann Heckart (Glenn) and Linda Lewis; and her nieces, Lisa and Roxanne.
She is survived by: her husband Waldo "John" Ray Jr.; her daughters, Darla JoAnn Ray of Peoria, Susan Diane Ray of Littleton and Cathy Colvin of Littleton, Colorado; her sister Helen Essex of Knoxville; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Nesbit of Galesburg and Gilbert Lewis of Maquon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
