He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell X. Cecil and Clara L. Cecil (Smith); his wife Joyce Burnaugh; and his siblings, Lila, Lena, Bernard, Burton and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Cecil (Donna) of Gilson and Renee Curry (Ron) of Knoxville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ryan Cecil of Gilson, Rachel Mathews (J. D.) of Olive Branch, Bill Sharp (Shelby) of Olive Branch, Jason, Shane Curry (Kate) of Marietta, Brett Curry (Marissa) of Knoxville, Illinois and Fourteen; and his siblings, Beverly Cecil of Galesburg and Robert Cecil of Knoxville, Illinois. He is also survived by Fourteen great grandchildren; Four great-great grandchildren.
