It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Nelson of Knoxville, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Neuschwanger and Dorothy Neuschwanger (Stephens); her daughters, Hannah Young (Dane) of Knoxville and Carrie Nelson (Tyler Eklund) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Raiden and Halen; her stepchildren, Amber Wold of Cuba and Jason Wold of Colorado; her siblings, Samuel Neuschwanger (Elizabeth) of Fort Wayne and Andrea Fisher (Tim) of The Villages, Florida.; her husband Steve; and her significant other Gregory Wold.
Memorials may be made to the Knoxville United Methodist Church.
