Alice Alene Herren Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Alene Herren in Knoxville, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Alene Herren to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Herren and Gladys Herren (Freiley); her siblings, Virgel Herren and Mary Spurlock; her son-in-law Jack Fisher; and her stepbrother Loren Lee Herren.
She is survived by: her husband Anton Grabill; her daughters, Terrie Lange (Kevin) of Mesa, Kathy Fisher (Jack) of Knoxville, Sharon Scanlon (Bob) of Sarasota and Toni Springer of San Francisco, California; and her brother Roger Herren of Wentzville, Missouri.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren (and one on the way) and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She later operated a craft business until 2008 and set up and sold her crafts at many of the area scenic drives. She was also an avid jogger, doing so into her 60's. She was of the Baptist Faith Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel.
