He is survived by: his parents, Thomas "Roscoe" and Hazel Vera Speer (Lanphere); his spouse Jane Ann "Jan" Peasley; his children, Deb Lawson (Larry) of Princeton, IL, Dave Speer (Ann) of Melbourne, FL and Dan Speer (Katy); his grandchildren, Hazel Sims (Emmet) of Compton, IL, Joan Simpson (Clark) of Princeton, IL, George Lawson (Christine) of Tinley Park, IL and William Lawson of McHenry, IL; his sister-in-law Pat Hall; his sister Marian Hall; his brothers-in-law, Ralph Hall and Don Hall; and his granddaughter Emily Speer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
