She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Milo and Snoda Coursey Gulick (Bence). She is survived by: her husband Jesse L. Avery of Kirkwood; her children, Don "Butch" Avery (Sue) of Alexis, IL and Pat Nelson (Phil) of Oneida, IL; her grandchildren, Megan Calleros (Sergio), Kara Leffler (Bryan), Jesse Thornton (Christy) and Lyndsay Olson (John); her great grandchildren, Dominic, Drew, Dylon, Avery, Nolan, Ian, Derrick (Taylor), Carter, Kaylyn and Vivian; her siblings, Dan Gulick (Gladys) of Kirkwood and Gloria Barr of Macomb, IL; and her half-brother Richard Coursey of Monmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Kirkwood United Methodist Church and sent to the funeral home.
