He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett William and Ruth Chewning (Asbury); and his brother Frank Chewning. He is survived by: his son Michael Chewning of Monmouth; his wife Tanya Chewning of Kirkwood, IL; and his siblings, Gary Chewning of Gerlaw, IL and Gloria Witt of Texas.
