He is survived by: his wife Sharon Darnell; his children, Leslie Woerly (Tony) of Monmouth, Lonnie Darnell of Little York, Gerald Williams (Carmen) of Seaton, IL and Shanda Brownlee (Robert) of Little York, IL; his sisters, Sharon Jern of Oquawka, IL, Mary Sue Wells of Monmouth, IL and Carol Buster of Florida; and his brothers-in-law, Donnie Smallwood Sr. of Cameron, IL and Stanley Dean Smallwood of East Galesburg, IL. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (200 E Cedar St, Kirkwood, IL 61447). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Donald Darnell Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
