It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Hathaway of Kirkwood, Illinois, born in Biggsville, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Hathaway and Katie Lee Hathaway (Philpott); and his brothers, George and Kenny. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Price; his children, Ray Price (Sally) of Ochlocknee, GA, Evelyn Barron of Monmouth, IL, Charles Payne of Monmouth, IL, Allen Payne of Monmouth, IL, April Lucas (Jim) of Burlington, IA, Rick Beary (Penny) of Knoxville, IL, James Hathaway of Monmouth, IL, Bobbie Jo Taylor of Dallas, TX and Tony Hathaway of Monmouth, IL.; and his sisters, Margaret Hathaway of Colorado and Geraldine Dean of Galesburg, IL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial is being established for the American Cancer Society.
