She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Kersey and Evelyn Kersey (Ross); and her sister Martha Killey. She is survived by: her sister Karen Shaver (Max) of Kirkwood; and her nieces, Cindy Hallam, Lisa Spilsbury, Michele Fillman and Ange Ballard.

Memorials may be made to Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center of Galesburg or the Western Illinois Animal Rescue and left in the care of the funeral home.
