It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip James Montgomery of Kirkland, Illinois, born in Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Montgomery; and his grandmother Norma Lehne of Monticello, WI. He is survived by: his mother Rebecca Montgomery of Kingston, IL; his wife Amanda; his siblings, Bethany of Hazel Green, AL, Joel (Kate) of Hazel Green, AL, Matthew (Christie) of Kirkland, IL and Rachel of Hazel Green, AL; his parents-in-law, Linda Lehne of Monticello, WI and James Ball (Alma) of Evansville, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Megan VanDeventer (Brody) of Madison, WI and Angela Ball of Evansville, WI.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He caught one of the last flights home before the world shut down due to COVID and graduated in 2020.
