She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Nimietz and Eva Nimietz (Shebeck); her husband Armin Koehler; her son Douglas; and her brother William Nimietz.
She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Lynn Norris of Kingston; her grandchildren, Krista Haberkamp (Brian), Bradley Norris (Denise), Clover, Kole, Beau, Heath Norris (Taylor), Natalie and Clara; and her sisters, Charlene Dohse and Donna Hedstrom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
