She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Pope and Glapha Pope (Frailey); her husband Harold Behnke; her daughter Christina Behnke Sturm; and her sister Shirley Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara Burnett (James) of Springfield, Rick Herbord (Sheila) of Ramsey, Larry Herbord (Sondra) of Vandalia, Charles Behnke (Tonya) of Flora and Tracy Wollin (David) of St. Peter, Illinois; her grandchildren, Marissa Castelletti, Brandon Burnett, Dr. Christopher Burnett, Emily Herbord, Megan Weddle, Derek Herbord, Katie Herbord, Tyler Herbord, Nicholas Sturm, Anthony Sturm, Allison Sturm, Lucas Behnke, Grant Behnke, Jencie Behnke, Paige Behnke and Dennis Wollin; and her sister Carolyn Boehm (Ralph) of Herrick, Illinois.. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marilyn's memory to the South Central FFA and will be accepted through the funeral home.
