He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Curry and Rose Curry; his child Jerry; his wife Mary Ann Patek; his children, Debra Horton, David and Jeri Lynn Curry; and his family Boy Scouting. He was also cherished by his six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
