He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Blomberg and Nellie Blomberg (Diss); his sisters, Junne Curtis, Jean Young and Helen Voelker; his siblings-in-law, Bob Young, Allen Sasse, Wayne Jenne and Jeanette Sasse; and his nephews, Steve Curtis, Joe Voelker and Roger Krummrich.
He is survived by: his wife Coleen Blomberg of Kinmundy, Illinois; his children, Karen Baylis (Ed) of Kinmundy, Illinois and Harald Weibel (Conny) of Freidberg, Germany; his brothers, Charles Blomberg (Zola) of Farina and Howard Blomberg (Pat) of Kinmundy, Illinois; his brother-in-law Howard Voelker of Altamont, Illinois; and his grandchild Ellie Baylis. He is also survived by grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
